A nice hotel, very well situated in the city.
The room was okej, nothing special for being a tophotel.
The service in the bar was terrible, no one was there to serve people wanted a coffee or a drink. We had to run around looking for staff.........
Breakfast was nice.

This is a very nice multilingual hotel with an excellent restaurant and bar. Beyond that, parking is available, so driving into Parma and is easy with no hassles or worry about driving into pedestrian zones. Everything is within walkable distances, and there's a small Barilla Mall for your grocery and souvenir needs. There is a steamroom and Sauna, but they were out of order with no explanation when I visited, and out of all the hotels I frequented in Italy, this was the only one with no Parma Crudo for breakfast. Odd.
Rooms are good sized but plastic cups? Anyway, a good choice for Parma and the price is right. Be sure to try the restaurant for dinner.

This is a real gem of a hotel , stayed here with family for 7 nights. The room was huge , very nicely decorated , but a little bit cold , but this was rectified during the stay. He weather was unseasonably cold!

The staff could not do enough for you & worked really hard to try & make the stay memorable. Especially the waiting staff at breakfast & dinner.

The hotel is ideally situated for the town but slightly out of the main part , so nice & quiet. Took 10 minutes walk to the main square . Perfectly located.

Would I stay there again - YES!

Modern hotel with well appointed rooms
Delicious breakfast with everything you can imagine offered. We had a group dinner there as well. Very accommodating offering us a meat or a fish dinner. I had a lovely warm seafood salad poured table side over crisp vegetables followed by risotto and frito misto. Our carnivorous friends had a platter of local driedmeats and cheeses and veal cheeks will return when in Parma.

Grand Hotel de la Ville is a large fancy hotel similar to those in the United States. The rooms are large and comfortable. As we were on a tour we did not explore the hotel as we would in the states, but enjoyed the stay there.
