Stayed for a night for the opera, nice little place.

Pros:
Location excellent for exploring plus all the best bars and restaurants seem very close by
Cheap! So cheap!
Has everything you need and relatively quiet.

Cons:
Parking is a pain. You can't drive straight up to the hotel as I'm pretty sure it is ZTL. We parked at Toshi which was safe and affordable but quite a way to walk to luggage.
Decor. Dated.

The hotel Button is literally right in the centre of Parma. Previous reviews said a bit dated but ongoing renovations whilst we were there. This is a simple great value place, ideal as a base for exploring Parma. Be aware there is no parking on site but it is only a short walk away and costs 12 euros per day

The hotel is near the center of attractions in Parma, yet because it is off a main avenue, Strada Giuseppe Mazzini/Strada della Repubblica, it is shielded from a lot of city noise. Great breakfast. We could walk to everything easily - touring sites and shopping. One of our suitcases broke and the front desk directed us to the reasonably priced Carpisa store in Barilla mall, also walking distance, near the Piazalle Vittorio Emanuele II.

This is one of the best value hotels I've stayed in for a long time. It has a fantastic location just a few minutes walking from most of Parma's attractions and right in the middle of where you want to be. Also just around the corner from some great restaurants and some great bars for aperitivo.

The rooms are simple which is totally fine for the price. The breakfast was also fantastic with a more than acceptable spread for the price. The only thing I would say they need to improve is the wifi speed which was pretty archaic. That said, we would DEFINITELY stay here again in Parma because it is such brilliant value.

The hotel is in the center an you can walk to all sights and wonder around easily. The parking garage is not on site, so you better drop off your bags first and then walk back empty handed. Bare in mind that this is a historical city and diving to the hotel is tricky with one-way roads. The room is dated and shows signs of wear, small and very dark, lights only by the bed, but the bathroom was spacious and overall seemed clean.
