Direct route from Stazione Centrale all the was to Piazza Maggiore , Neptune and old shopping areas. Restaurants, ice cream stalls and shopping. They close a large part of it on Sunday so people can promenade. All for free (except the shopping).

A central street with a lot of shops. The use of pavements with ceilings - porticos - make it easy to take a walk and do shopping independent of the weather conditions. A must see in Bologna.

This very wide street is interesting in its porticos, which offer a sheltered walk for the most part, form the main railway station to the central city square Piazza Maggiore. Lots of stores, mainly fashion. Cafes allow the visitor a refreshing pause. On weekends the part of this street, nearer the railway station, leads to the adjacent very large weekend market, for all kinds of merchandise.

This Main Street is very beautiful. With marble on the ground. And the arches are beautiful too. It is a great walk.

The central shopping street is full of shops and cafes. On Saturdays and Sundays it closes for transportation and becomes completely pedestrian, but there are many people
