This was a wonderful hidden gem we stumbled across while visiting my great great grandmother and grandfather’s hometown. The Molise region is known for their pears, cheese, and blades. I had a salad with pears and cheese that was out of this world good! The regions finest in one dish! The owners speak English so I called to see when they opened. We visited on a Monday and they opened at 8pm. We sat inside - almost every table was taken! This was an amazing experience. We also asked for balsamic with the oils and bread and were politely informed that balsamic is a northern Italy thing - so we learned more while we had amazing wine and food! Loved this experience so much! If you are ever in the area I hope you check it out. You will not be disappointed. The lasagne melts in your mouth and everything about it is perfect!
