I visited this place with my partner during Easter holidays. It was very busy, but still worth seeing.

You can find La Pieta inside of St Peter's Basilica. It is always crowded around this monument, but it is worth the wait. You can see La Pieta behind protective glass.

The sculpture is beautiful. I can’t believe how skilled Michelangelo was; it’s so amazing the details in this piece of art. To view the sculpture you stand in line, you need to take your time to appreciate this piece of art. Amazing!

You get a strange feeling on seeing secured work of art. You may get several emotions on seeing this statue. It is just beautiful and hair raising to visualise the emotions of mother Mary at that instance.

Not enough words to describe its beauty. A sculpture/stone that captures emotion. Inspiring. Behind glass but can see well. Crowds but they don’t stay long.
