Just had a lunch/ supper in this lovely place. Quiet simple place but very tasty food! Not so cheap, not so expensive. English speaking stuff and very good service.

Great little bar, staff are very accommodating for English speaking visitors, great wine and beer, would highly recommend.

Called in on the way from Rome centre to the Hotel. Nice drinks if German orientated with Munich beer and fruity white wine. Nice snacks, cold meats and cheese. Very good service. Recommended

We spent a few lovely days in Rome and found this wonderful bar/snack joint just around the corner from our hotel. It is across the street from the apparently much more popular, noisy and terribly crowded Ai Tre Scalini. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine each evening, choosing from a wonderful selection of reasonably priced wines, plus a plate of cheeses, salads, etc. and enjoyed it tremendously. Service was wonderful, English spoken to a fair degree depending on who your server is, and a very memorable experience.

Just left Barzilai on Via Panisperna after a wonderful dinner. We chose this restaurant at random because of the local buzz around it. We definitely made the right choice. On offer isn't the traditional Italian fare but a choice of small modern style dishes, a good wine list and boutique beers. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome.
