This hotel is set on a very large property & has great offers in the form of pool, gym & even a soccer field, however it lacks in other areas.
Staff aren't very helpful (it's like you are interrupting them),breakfast is extremely ordinary, I ended up just having coffee as stale bread even when toasted isn't my cup of tea, rooms need a MAJOR makeover but otherwise clean and comfortable and the elevator works intermittently. One massive bonus is the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Food there was fantastic and cheap in comparison to what I had been paying in town. However, I probably wont be back to stay again, dinner maybe....

We checked in here for 5 nights following a cancelled booking with our tour operator. We wanted a hotel near Rome that doesn't charge extra for use of the pool etc, that wasn't too pricey and it filled our needs well. The reception staff were very friendly and the housekeepers did a fantastic job, giving fresh towels everyday and discretely cleaning whilst we were at breakfast. The quad room we were in was quiet and very clean. The beds were topped with very good, new mattresses which were very comfortable. The only problem was one of the air conditioning units wasn't brilliant, so it did get a bit warm. Breakfast was ok, but not great choice for gluten free (we did ask before booking), only cornflakes or sweet biscuits, so a bit boring after a couple of days. The pool was clean and always had a lounger free. There was a lifeguard who was vigilant when his services were needed by another guests small child who went too far in the pool. There were a number of football squads staying whilst we were there, but they were all off training most of the time so we only really saw them at breakfast. There is so much to se and do in the surrounding areas, but a car was crucial for us as we wanted to head out into areas as well as Rome itself and explore the beautiful sites in offer. We didn't eat in the onsite restaurant, although it smelt nice, instead we opted to eat in restaurants all within a few minutes drive and found lots of choice. Car parking was free and we never had a problem finding a space. Wifi was good and also free. Other hotels we looked at in similar areas charged for the use of the pool, car park and wifi, so all in all this made our stay here an even better bargain. The lovely reception staff allowed us to keep hold of the room until later on in the day as we had an evening flight, and this really helped us. There is an onsite gymnasium which looked well equipped. I'm not sure how much there would be to entertain young children except the pool. There aren't many bars and restaurants within walking distance, but plenty if you are driving. The receptionist advised us to drive down to a nearby metro station, leave the car and use the public transport for our outing into Rome (I had no ambition to drive in Rome anyway, as I value my life!), and was happy to direct us. We would definitely consider staying here again

Room Tip: We were on the first floor and saw no one else on the floor during our stay

A lot of the reviews for this hotel stated no one spoke English. The bell boy spoke English well and was very helpful. It was a 30 euro taxi ride to central Rome. The wifi worked well in our room and the ac was wonderful. We booked 3 rooms in the hotel and one reeked of cigarette smoke but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good.

Supposed to be a 4* but didn't really feel like it. Felt more like an out of town 3* than a good 4* in Rome. Stayed in one of the outside rooms, with an open empty fountain and a 4 foot drop right in front of my room. A little odd. Staff welcoming enough, but would not choose to stay here again. Rooms are clean enough, and La Tana Dei Ricci pizzeria nearby is very nice, but facilities seem a little out dated. Not one of my favourite ever places to stay.

Room Tip: Outside rooms are quiet but away from main hotel, with an outside walk to get there.

Stayed here last week in a group of 9, the hotel is clean with two great pools and a nice retro feel, we thought the rooms were nice with free WiFi and Sky TV as standard (in English too!) as was the breakfast however the spa and steam room is non-existent and we found the restaurant food disappointing, the local restaurants are better quality and cheaper. It is difficult to get to from the airport but travel from it and Rome is fairly easy, I'd recommend buying a week bus and train pass from EUR Fermi station (24 euros) as it pays for itself in no time, the 705 and 706 bus run every 5 minutes from Fermi to a bus stop (Pontina Turniati) 5 miniutes walk from the hotel . A pleasant stay overall.

(To get to the hotel from the Fumicino Airport, get a train from the airport to Rome Termini station, then Metro Line B to EUR Fermi, finally a 705, 071 or 706 to Pontina- Turnati station. then the hotel is a 5 minute work across an overpass)

Room Tip: Higher floors had bigger, more spacious rooms
