The pastas are the best I’ve had in Italy
The Caci Pepe is divine , the Amatriciana incredible
Wonderful staff
Very small and you have to be comfortable sitting very close to your fellow diners
Get there early or you will have to wait as it’s very popular .. but so very with it

The food is rustic, cheap and tasty but it does not exceed other restaurants in the area in any dramatic way.

Seems to be a victim of it's own hype - I was stupid enough to stand outside waiting for a table for lunch for over 45 mins...before going away and then coming back. Total of a 1hr 15 min wait...

Once in the service is fast and furious - a little like a production line of bowls of pasta. Nice enough and tasty but not worth the wait and not up to the hype.

Very good food. Had to queue outside for a while but that was just a sign of how good the place is, and they did give us some of the house wine while we waited. Would definitely book ahead if planning to go. The only thing I would say is that it’s quite cramped inside, but this is purely due to the high demand.

This is one of my favourite ristorante in Rome. The staff are great, the wine delicious (house wine and good selection of bottled) and the food exceptional. One of the best carbonara’s I’ve had. The meatballs and carciofi (artichokes) are also great and the tiramisu one of the best.

Authentic good value food. Yes it's a bit hectic but we had a 3 course good quality meal with a litre of wine for 80e which is good value. We also had fried artichoke which were ace!
