This was the perfect B&B. The entire family was there to ensure you were taken care of. Breakfast was delicious!!! The B&B was even better than we hoped- very spacious and nicely decorated/nice landscaping. Great location -10 minutes from the ruins. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a first trip to Italy for our 7 and 9 year olds. Since the ruins of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius was what they really wanted to see before we continued on to Sicily, we decided against staying in Naples or Sorrento and dealing with a hot train ride every day. We flew over from the States and started our vacation with a four- night stay at Casa di Plinio. I am so glad we did! Our lower-level room with two double beds and a kitchenette was so comfortable. We could barely get the kids up by 9:30 every morning, they slept so good. After an outstanding breakfast that was graciously presented by Martina, we would take a leisurely 15 minute walk to the Porta Superiore entrance of the Pompeii ruins. Along the way we stopped at the Carrefour Supermarket and bought sandwiches and fruit for our day. After a long day of sightseeing, our cool room and lovely bathroom gave us a chance to rest and clean up for dinner. And what was such a nice surprise is that we then had the opportunity to experience "small town southern Italy." A 10-minute walk along the main street of the modern town of Pompeii will take you to the piazza of the huge Cathedral. Along the way are numerous restaurants, shops and dessert cafes that are very good, and in summer, all the Italians are out strolling in their finery. But what was nice was how our children ran and played in the piazza just like the other children, giving us all a chance to really observe the culture. We would not have had this experience if we had been stuck on a train every afternoon returning to Sorrento or Naples or Positano. We had a wonderful time in Pompeii thanks to the attention given us by Martina, who works so hard, and her brother Salvatore.

Fabulous breakfast! Very central, half way between both train stations, within walking distance to the ruins and Center of town. Martina and Salvatore are very kind and helpful. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The only drawback was the extremely hard mattress.

Truly amazing visit! Martina and Salvatore made us feel so welcome from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more.

The room was very clean and spacious and the freshly baked croissants for breakfast were absolutely delicious.

So so happy we found this hidden gem! Definitely worth a visit!

Martina and her family are very welcoming hosts. We felt like home and we had one of our best breakfast in her place during our trip in Italy. The place is very comfortable and clean. Rooms are as pictures on their website. Location is only at 15 minutes walk to ruins of Pompeii. :)
