LOOK AND FEEL: looks brand new and fashionable, yet low-key from the outside.
LOCATION: central location downtown, at 10' walking distance from the Circumvesuviana railway station (from where you can take a local train to Pompei, Ercolano or Sorrento), and 15' walk from the main railway station Napoli Centrale (from where the long-distance trains depart to e.g. Rome). The surroundings are pretty safe in Napolitan terms and definitely safer than around Napoli Centrale. A short walk takes you to the heart of the old city.
ROOM: We stayed in a Superior Room, which was silent, very spacious, very clean and with everything in good working order. the WiFi was very fast and reliable (which is not a given in Italian hotels). The room featured a large and spotlessly clean bathroom, but with one big problem: the taps were of nice design but extremely difficult to handle, so you get either burned or frozen at the start - but after a while you understand how it works.
BREAKFAST: though the breakfast room was not huge, it was large enough for the number of people. Products were fresh and the offer varied.
SERVICE: very friendly and efficient - exemplary
Overall, a good choice both for business or for pleasure, and for the small extra cost I would highly recommend going for the superior room.More
