The best thing about this hotel is its location , right smack bang in the midle of everything really .The famous local market is about 50 yards away and its the most fantastic market ever .
Trams and busses to take you all over the region are practicaly outside the door of this hotel, fares are very reasonable .
Back to the hotel , its a budget hotel no getting away from it ,but its actually a really good place to stay as well , staff are friendly and dont seem too overworked .
Breakfast is continental style to keep costs down , but its also quite enjoyable .
Guests are not noisey at all but this was he end of the season, I would not have felt safe out after dark as it did seem a bit of a dodgy area .
Rooms here are cheapandchearfull and it does whats needed of it .
I would return...

Cineholiday is perfectly located right by the main train terminal. The host and hostesses are delightful - friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They held our bags until check-in time without batting an eye after we arrived at 7:30 am, and held them all day on check-out day until our evening train to Rome. The breakfast is great, and the accommodations cozy and quirky. Would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: The Sofia Loren room was lovely.

We booked directly with the hotel after checking accommodation on a range of booking sites. Although unfamiliar with the geography of Naples, we decided on the Piazza Garibaldi as an ideal location. Making the booking was very easy and Carmen replied to emails very quickly and provided suitable information. We realised that Napoli were playing at home on the Sunday of our stay and we contacted Carmen to see if we could obtain tickets. I received an email from Luigi about obtaining tickets and we had some excellent fun trying to organise the tickets. As we arrived in Naples we had not finalised the tickets and felt that the opportunity had been missed. We checked the location and on googlemaps and found that to find the Via Silvio Spaventa we only had to locate the Banco Populare, as this is on the corner of Piazza Garibaldi and Via Spaventa.

We arrived at the airport and caught the Alibus to the Central Station and found that we only had to cross the top of the Piazza Garibaldi to be on the correct side for the Hotel Cine. We stopped for a drink in the first bar we saw to get our bearings and found that the hotel was literally two minutes away.

We arrived at the hotel at about 11:00 and expected not to be able to check in and hoping that perhaps we could leave our bags and return later. Imma, on the reception, asked us to wait a moment as she checked if our room was ready. It was and we dropped off our bags and hit the mean streets of Naples.

On our return, several hours later, we met Carmen and she provided us with a two tickets for the football. This was a complete, and wonderful, surprise and made me so happy as I had not finalised the arrangements with Luigi. In addition we were able to get a large bottle of very cold beer and two bottles of chilled water from Carmen. At that moment she had changed from a hotel employee to an angel of mercy.

We had requested the Audrey Hepburn room and the room was fine; basic but clean, and exactly what we had expected in a budget hotel. The bed frame was a little unusual in relation to the size of the bed (I think it's a double bed in a king size frame) and this may cause some people a problem. The room had a fridge, a small balcony (with a large step down it it) and French doors that opened onto the balcony. Sitting there drinking a cold beer and absorbing the atmosphere of Naples was delightful. The French doors have excellent screens that keep the light out and the air conditioning unit was efficient at quickly cooling the room. The room was cleaned every day and always neat and tidy on our return. The breakfast is adequate and suitable for a hot climate and set us up adequately for the rest of the day.

The location of the hotel is excellent for drinking and eating as there are a number of bars and restaurants within three minutes walk, the main station is 5 minutes away, the Line 1 metro in 2 minutes away and the Line 2 metro is 5 minutes away. There is an excellent supermarket at the station. The side of Piazza Garibaldi that the hotel is on is very safe, with lots of light, people, bars, restaurants, police and army. We felt very safe and relaxed having a drink after long days exploring Naples and the Campania.

On Sunday we wanted to visit several places and wanted to obtain a Arte card from the tourist information office. However, Imma explained that this needed to be purchased on line and we expected to have to find an internet café which I thought would be very difficult. However, Imma just gave us a dazzling smile and then sorted everything out for us in about five minutes. This was another example of the friendly and efficient staff at this this delightful hotel.

On the Sunday night we went to watch Napoli and the experience was spoiled by having great difficulty getting home from the match. On the Monday morning my partner was tremendously upset at breakfast and Antonio, Imma and Claudia all took time to comfort her and make her feel better. The actions of these three lovely people saved our holiday.

On needing to return we asked Carmen about an internet café to allow us to print off our boarding passes and again she was fantastic in booking our flights and printing off out boarding passes.

In conclusion it is fair to say that if you want to experience Naples and the kindness and generosity of its people then stay in this lovely hotel. The staff are absolutely superb and nothing is too much trouble. The location is excellent and this hotel provides a great base for exploring both Naples and Campania. We have had a wonderful holiday in Naples. In English we have a saying "see Naples and die", but stay at this hotel and you will be able to "see Naples and live"...like a Neapolitan.

We stayed here in May 2017 for a couple of nights prior to visiting the Cilento coast further south (which is as good as the Amalfi Coast but with far fewer visitors)
We really liked the hotel once we managed to find it! It's off Garibaldi Square but we couldn't spot the street sign. Anyway, the staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was good. All the rooms are cinematically-themed and we had the 'Audrey Hepburn' room, which was fun. Despite Naples being a noisy and chaotic city, the room was quiet and we didn't hear much traffic noise. Breakfast was good and there are lots of decent restaurants nearby.
I would definitely recommend a visit to the Archaeology Museum, a 30 minutes' walk away.
The room cost less than £50 a night ( that's pre-Brexit, mind!) so all in all it's a bargain place to stay.
