Sept 21 2018 - I can highly recommend Sorrento hiking. From start to finish our guide Flavio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up from the center of Sorrento and driven to the very start of the path. Once there we could get a coffee at a local bar and use the facilities. Flavio then handed out walking poles, I didn’t have one, and even a spare backpack to help another walker carry some water. Flavio’s knowledge of the local history, myth and plants was endless and was more than happy to answer any questions. We walked at our own pace and did not feel any pressure to go faster, in fact the whole walk was around us having a great time. At the end of the walk we were dropped back in the center is Sorrento.

Bit of advice come prepared you need proper walking shoes / boots and carry plenty of water. The hike is over some rough terrain but so worth it the views are amazing.

Our group of six did a total of 4 hikes, one with Nino and 3 with Giovanni. These guys love what they do and their enthusiasm rubbed off on all of us. Their knowledge of local history, culture, flora and cuisine seems encyclopedic. There were special extras on each hike such as an amazing farm lunch coming back up from Punta Campanella, the visit with the goat and tomato farmer to try his cheese and other treats on Path of the Gods, a picnic of homemade dishes on the Valley of the Mills, and more. We never felt rushed. They really took the time to answer our questions and show us things most visitors would overlook. The hikes themselves are fantastic with amazing views. If you are planning to hike or tour Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi Coast and are thinking about hiring a guide, I would highly recommend this group.

My mother & I did Sorrento Hiking's 3 hour "Lemon Tour" with Nino which was fabulous. Part of it was a historical walking tour of the downtown area which was very interesting. Right in the city are two working orchards & we toured each (sampling limoncello in one!) plus sampled cheeses, olives, and more at a local mozzarella 'factory'/store. Highly recommend the experience!

The group met at Piazza Tasso and we drove to Bomerano to start the walk. The views were amazing, the walk quite tough- wear good shoes and take plenty of water as most of the walk is quite exposed. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the history and the vegetation. The hiking sticks they provided were a great help.
I'd highly recommend the hike- a great way to experinece the Amalfi coast without the crowds.

Rossana met us in the square in Sorrento and we drove to Bomerana (~50 mins) and then hiked from Bomerano to near Nocelle and back. The hike was ~3h and 30 minutes and she was exceptional at pointing out the aspects and history you would not notice.

We also stopped at a friends house on the path for real goat cheese, it was amazing.

This is much better than trying to take the bus on your own and walking the path without realize what you are seeing.
