I do not think that Plaza Mayor Pasteleria is truly a restaurant, at least I did not see any tables to sit at. You can buy marzipan and other sweet buns. There are also some artisan chocolates available if marzipan is not your thing. I suggest going here to buy some Marzipan if you can not make the trip to Toledo.

This is the place to buy artisanal marzipan. They have many treats here besides but the marzipan here is next level. They do great gifts like the "marzipan eel" that comes from hand held to giant table top size to satisfy the sweet tooths of a small village. If you can't get to Toledo, the center of the marzipan universe, buy here and the prices are better.

A delightful resturant offering outside eating in the sunshine. What sets this resturant aside on the day? The service and quality of the breakfast.

Service makes or breaks the experience.

Value for money breakfeast. Coffee and orange juice were both excellent.

What I liked was the out door ambience; close to the Plaza Mayor; and to be able to sit in the sunshine in peace and dream...

Bought truffles and marzipan candy from here. The place was always quiet but it is more of an upscale candy store. It was tough to figure out prices on items because the prices were on the shelf behind the counter and we didn't know any Spanish and shop owner / employee didn't know any English.
