This hotel is very conveniently located within a 5-6 minute walk to the “Clot” Metro subway station in a very safe comfortable neighborhood. The hotel has been recently remodeled. Rooms are a bit small by American standards but adequate.

The breakfast came with our rooms and offered a great assortment of beverages, breads, meats (cold and hot) , fruits, bake goods and juices. You will not go away hungry.

The Metro provide very economical, safe, quick transportation. Purchase the 10 –ride pass at its only $1.05 euros per ride.

Do not buy ham or sausages to bring back to the USA. The vendors will tell you "no problems" but if you declare it at customs they will confiscate meats.

Note that Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia both issue time sensitive tickets, giving you a 30 minutes window to enter. We went and tickets were sold out for the day at Park Guell and for the next four days to Sagrada Familia. We were able to purchase a ticket on line for both venues from a ticketing agency for the 50% premium.

The hotel may be rated 3 stars by amenities but we received 5 star service. As first-time tourist to Barcelona we had a lot questions.

Room Tip: Avoid Room 608. We could not control the AC and froze.

Situated just outside main city but close to top attractions, and close to good public transport connections, including to/from airport, the hotel was Ideal. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, some bathroom fixtures were beginning to show some wear but again was clean and worked as a base to enjoy Barcelona from. The breakfast was typical continental style, and again the staff there were helpful and friendly, ready to show how things like coffee machine worked (watched staff member happily show grumpy ungrateful
American "lady" how to work equipment and where plates/cups etc were stored.. don't you love our American friends?). I used the laundry facility and had the item back same day, washed and ironed and hung in my room, great. I'd use this hotel again if visiting Barcelona.

Spacious and clean rooms; friendly and accommodating staff; excellent location just foot steps away from train station; near historic sites; delicious food (definitely try the little bakery around the corner (dulce leche cake); and entertainment. I highly recommend this hotel.

First time in Spain, Barcelona - booked for 4 nights. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Everyday my room had a tidy up which we didn't expect but most importantly the service we received from the hotel staff was excellent. I don't know the name of the asian receptionist but she worked late shifts, she made our check-in smooth and helped us with the touristy locations and was extremely helpful. Would recommend to stay again in future. Thanks for the brilliant stay!

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst in Barcelona for a holiday and Primavera Sound festival. The hotel is ideally located right next to Clot metro station and a couple of minutes from Clot Arago station which connects directly to the airport. We could be in the city centre or at Parc del Forum within 20 minutes. There are a couple of supermarkets and cafes/bakeries right next door and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel.
We stayed in a suite which are in a separate building directly behind the main hotel and have their own entrance. We were not disappointed, it was very spacious with separate bedroom and living area with a well equipped kitchen and our own private terrace with seating which got the sun all afternoon. The bathroom was clean and modern with an excellent shower. Bed was comfortable with lots of storage in the bedroom and black out blinds which were ideal for sleeping late after the festival.
The main hotel also has a roof terrace with sunbeds.
Only slight downsides were the lack of any washing up/cleaning products for the kitchen but we found that house keeping would often wash up our cups/plates etc. Also you aren't given a key for the main door and have to buzz the main reception when coming back in giving your room number.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and I'd definitely recommend the suites to anyone else and would stay here again.
