So, this is THE tourist street in Barcelona. In the daytime, this street is packed and not quite so bad. The biggest problem is the pickpocketing. At night, the street is loaded with drunk loud tourists; a mass of pickpockets, and very aggressive prostitutes. If you appear to be a single male, the prostitutes will grab and paw at you.

The only redeeming thing is the market La Boqeria. If you visit in the daytime, La Boqueria is a most. Each neighborhood has its market, and though this is the most pricey of all (as it is smack in the tourist zone). it is a wonderful place to sightsee and graze through!

A lovely pedestrian street with all the usual tourist junk interspersed with amazing gelataria’s and restaurants. It’s a nice way to kill a few hours, but beware of pick pockets as it’s usually very, very crowded.

Las Ramblas is far too much a playground for pickpockets, proposals for drugs or sex shops, etc ... Does not give a good image of Barcelona that deserves a better touristic attraction. Police and Politics should take action

Dont think about booking a standard room. It means an internal room with no window, very poor airconditioning and the room had been smoked in. It was really not nice. I had to pay Euro 50/day extra to get a room I could breathe in. Breakfast very basic, premises not very clean.
