When you enter the lobby of this hotel there is a classic touch with lots of woodpanels.
The hotel is in a quiet street close to the Museum of Human Evolution, which was my prime target on this trip and the nice small old centre with the large Cathedral.
Otherwise Burgos is a pretty average modern town with big spacious suburbs.
Friendly reception and my double room was large and nice. Did have to work out the control of the heating system in my room as it was too hot for me. Found out the temperature control worked the other way around as expected. Had to turn it up to get the heater off.
The breakfastbuffet was simple but sufficient for me. What I didn't like was that every day during my stay the eggs and bacon were cold. It would help to light the small burner below the trays.More
