- Most people go there early the huge parking lot is full and Most parking places around as well.
- Very Touristic, super crowded

+ Most ways are Under trees so you dont face the sun
+ great Shows with dolphins, whales, seals, several times a Day
+ you can take your own water and food to avoid expensive Restaurants inside

We spent 4 hours and have Seen anything so dont mind if you only have some hours.

Our first visit to this attraction, which is heavily advertised all over the island and we were half expecting to find it over-hyped, but these fears disappeared immediately on entry. The site is huge, and immaculately kept. We saw not a bit of litter or mess all visit long. The animals are all in large, open enclosures, most t with waterfalls, and all looking very natural. Most are fronted by huge glass fronts. The aquarium is truly spectacular, enormous tanks of beautiful fresh and seawater fish and crustaceans. Penguin world starts with a large pool and rocky landscape, with little Humboldt penguins, followed by a recreation of Antarctica, populated by King penguins, viewed from a slow moving walkway. The park started life as a parrot sanctuary, and still has large numbers, some in pairs in large cages and specimens of the large and colourful Amazon parrots fly freely in a vast aviary. There are four shows a day of dolphins, killer whales, sea lions and parrots, all mind blowingly good. All of the animals are obviously well cared for, healthy and happy, and the animal performers in the shows seem to love what they do and show a really close bond with their trainers. There are numerous food outlets, beautifully clean, attended toilets, and, of course, souvenir and merchandise outlets. A free land train runs from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz to Loro Parque at approximately 20 minute intervals. The site is so large that it absorbs the vast crowds easily and it is possible to move around easily. Once in the park, baby buggies, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available on payment of a small deposit, and one can buy a heavily discounted entry ticket, valid for 14 days. We made 2 visits and would recommend Loro Parque to anyone of any age.

Loro parque were to start the most beautiful and amazing place, animals interests at the heart of what they do, You get to go up close to nature with the park walk were the birds fly in front of you and land in there natural settings, watch shows with whales and dolphins and other animals that is so natural i was worried about the animals being put under pressure but its not like the you can see the enjoyment and the good this places does lots of breeding and animal charity. loads of amazing animals to see white tigers and gorillas aswell as smaller animals like meerkats lots to see needed a second day to do it all in. the penguin palace is amazing and there get to watch. the park is the cleanest well organised place, food and drink well priced as well as gift shops. will defiantly return when i go back to tenerife.

Loro Park is a great animal park. Technically a zoo but they claim to be conservation driven. Their prices for food and drink inside the park suggest otherwise. Also they charge residents a much cheaper price than tourists. It is as if tourists are not welcome. Or perhaps they think we are all rich. Hence the reason for a 4 star review rather than a 5 star review. But now to the positives and great positives they are! The Whale, Dolphin and Sea Lion shows are amazing. They are all so clever and well trained in tricks etc. They seem to enjoy entertaining the crowds and certainly they enjoy the food rewards. So many lovely parrots to see. There is a parrot show too. Beautiful white Tigers and Lions as well. Also Gorillas and Penguins. The park itself is very beautiful. All the family enjoyed themselves. Parking is available on site for 4 euros. Disabled guests can borrow a wheelchair for free or hire an electric scooter.
