Great location overlooking the Concha beach. Quirky lift but it works. Very clean hotel. Staff on reception were helpful and friendly. No safe in the room but Hotel offers a safe box at reception. Front door of hotel is on a street parallel to the promenade. Back door through restaurant/bar opens onto promenade but take great care as there is a cycle lane between the door and the promenade and cyclists are travelling fast. This hotel was recommended by a friend and we in turn would recommend as a good place to stay when visiting San Sebastian

Lovely quaint old hotel with original quirky old elevator. Rooms basic but very clean. U fortunately no tea or coffee facilities in room. No room safe however not an issue and safes in reception and staff more than accommodating to let you in and out of it no matter what time of day or night. No charge for safe use. Buffer breakfast very fresh and pretty adequate. One word of warning is as it’s an old hotel it still has its original wooden floorboards and no sound proofing therefore we were grateful we had earplugs to get a great nights sleep.

One of the few places left on the beach front, this is a comfortable and quiet hotel, good service, good restaurant and amazing location on a beautiful stretch of beach, within walking distance to everything. Room was small but comfortable with air-conditioning, elevator and decent bathroom, although absolutely no view for 77€\night. I must admit, I did tell them I preferred quiet to view so can’t blame the hotel. San Sebastián is a great town.

My wife and I returned to the Niza and were once more charmed by its beautiful location looking over the Playa de la Concha beach, by falling asleep to the sound of the waves. I was glad they now allow you to book a room with a sea view and we also made sure to book a parking space in their garage. The staff were very helpful about making restaurant bookings for us. For the price, I don't think you can do better in San Sebastian.

Just had lunch at the restaurant. Ordered the Grouper with no sauce and pepper as a replacement. Got a small piece of fish, with sauce, no vegetables and no pepper. Worst experience since touring Portugal and Spain. Sorry, but I would not recommend.
