One of the most beautiful and interesting churches we have visited. Stunning architecture and unusual artistic features make this a very special place.

La Seo is a huge gothic cathedral with incredibly elaborate chapels in the side aisles as well as a central choir lined with little chapels. I guess it is interesting from an artistic point of view, but I found it emotionally cold, especially in comparison to the Basilica del Pilar.

Currently restoring the exterior but check out the beautiful ceramic tiled side wall ( left exterior wall when facing front facade). The interior is also full of interesting art and do not miss the exquisite tapestry rooms upstairs. The location of the church is near at the far end of Plaza Del Pilar.

Even if you just look at the outside you will be amazed at the mosaic of geometrical architecture on the stone - this used to be a mosque and was turned into a church
