Really enjoyed feeling the old fashioned cobblestone life of this area. Highly recommend for authentic Moorish Spanish experience. The only challenge is driving. If you stay there, book a place that has dedicated parking.

Get yourself lost in the labyrinth, narrow streets of Albayzin. Very interesting place to visit situated on a steep hill. It is the medieval quarters of moorish era which has retained its architectural features over centuries. Some of the houses have been changed into hotels and restaurants. Coming down the hill, you can easily get lost in the meandering streets. Mirador San Nicolas offers excellent views of Alhambra palace. In the evening buskers entertain you on their guitar. Buses regularly ply on the route along with a tourist train.

Very nice to walk around but it's hilly with lots of steps so people with limited mobility might find it difficult.

A very typical old quarter of the city. It includes some nice shopping streets (Moroccan) with Moroccan tee houses.

an old medieval town with long winding streets and narrow cobble lanes, One has to be a very good driver to manoeuvre about those narrow streets , many of which are just wide enough for one car to pass by with pedestrians pressed against the walls to make room for the vehicle . There is a cafe-bar on top of the hill where one can view The Alhambra . The sunset view across the Alhambra is stunning to watch
