The hotel may not appeal to every choice but definitely worth staying. It’s one of a kind with rooms on 2 levels (bathroom is upstairs). In the heart of the old city and 10 min walk to the promenade. The only problem I faced was that the hotel, being in the old city doesn’t have a parking spot, nor I was informed by that or where to park; on the top of that, road work was underway closing the little road leading to the entrance with alternative route unknown. Imagine yourself having two big luggage a walking for over half an hour trying to find the entrance with people around trying to help but themselves couldn’t guide me to the entrance until one charming Spanish lady asked and investigated and lead me to the hotels through little roads. That was a major hurdle to spoil your mood for the rest of the day. Other than that, all the tapas restaurants are as close as they could be.

If you are looking for charm, a warm welcoming atmosphere and a clean place with a great location, this is the place.
The hotel is located in a quiet street in the old town of Marbella. You have all the restaurants, bars and shops you need steps from your door. It's a family owned business and you can tell. They are very nice and welcoming. We stayed in a loft type room that has a second floor and it was fabulous. Clean, comfortable and minimalist without loosing charm. You can walk to the beach from there in approximately 10 minutes. Its a quiet place where you can rest and have a homey feel. I will go back again.

Perfect position in the old town of Marbella. We were in Marbella in February and it was particularly cold. Unfortunately the heating in the bedroom was not adequate but I'm sure that most of the time this wouldn't be a problem. We mistakenly believed due to other trip advisor reviews that breakfast was included but it seems its not a service they offer anymore :(

We've just come back from a 2 night stay in the hotel Las Moradas Hermosa in old marbella it is a lovely quaint typical Spanish town house. The breakfast was served to us in a small side room - only continental but adequate for our needs. As it is a small hotel there is a lovely homely family feel. There is a small courtyard on the way to the bedrooms with a table a chairs which is attractive. We stayed in room 3 the ground floor bedroom which has a window to a side street but the double glazing is so good we heard no noise at all. Our room was clean and tidy with air conditioning which worked well. There was a nice bathroom with shower over the bath. There were small bars and restaurants very near the hotel which is in a one way narrow street. Very near to orange square. All in all excellent and we will be returning.

Beautiful location right in the middle of the Old Town - be aware that socializing goes on in Marbella until very late - however it wasn't a rowdy noise - just people chatting, laughing, the clink of glasses. What was refreshing was the lack of screaming, car horns, loud music and yobbish behaviour! Room 6 was spotlessly clean with lovely linens, great aircon and fan and a fridge too. Telly has only Spanish channels - or BBC World News, but hey, who goes to Marbella to sit in and watch telly? Very friendly, helpful staff with good understanding of English.
From a very English point of view - would have liked tea making facilities in the room. Many thanks for your hospitality and helpfulness.
