Was very impressed with the museum and the art works. Having the audio tour included in the entry price was a bonus. Seeing Picasso’s style change over his long career was fascinating.

Malaga is Picasso’s birthplace, so the city offers 2 sites of his heritage - this museum and his house. This museum covers all the history and also presents an excellent video about photographing him and his paintings.

It is hard to visit Malaga and not visit the Picasso Museum. You don’t have to be an art fan to enjoy this. The art is different in lots of ways but you would expect that but nevertheless it makes an impression. Sometimes it was a little difficult to see what was in the artist eye. There was a strong focus on the relationship between Picasso and the Italian film maker Fellini but it appears that they never met. Do go see and enjoy.

The museum is nice and provides 12 rooms that show case Picasso’s work. The museum is limited to just his art and a tad bit more, it is worth an hour and admission charged.

After finally circling the building to find the entrance it was well the 7 Euro entrance fee. Didn't have the free audio guide although that may have been helpful for giving extra information about the paintings and sculptures. Used the English leaflet with the 10 top items to see as we were in a rush, but this gave us a real feel for this icon of 20th century art. It is laid out from start of PIcasso's life (Gallery 1) in the 19/20th century through to Gallery 11 at the end of his career, so you do get to see his progression and development through his different periods and muses. Only criticism is it can get a bit crowded in some of the galleries as they are quite small.
