That was an amazing stay! We came from Paris for few weeks in Marbella as it was our first time there, and we never regret about our choice! The very friendly staff was really helpful by providing a map to us and explaining all the local attractions with the restaurants. We can definitely suggest this hotel as the beach is really close by and you can enjoy the nature while walking. The breakfast is essential at the hotel as the variety of choice is very broad!
Moreover, the hotel is pet friendly. The family who run the hotel has a lovely dog - Ben. Anytime we could play with him as he likes the attention from the guests!!!
We can say that the hotel, location, ambiance are so good that we are planning to come back soon! We strongly recommend this hotel for everyone who really wants to enjoy at 100%.

Room Tip: All the rooms are really good!

We arrived at the hotel at night, about 2 am, however, young man Eugen was waiting for us and the door opened right before we entered. From the first sight we were amazed by the creative and outstanding interior design of the hotel. Our luggage was carried to the second floor and when we gave Eugen a small tip he was reluctant to take it, explaining it that he is there not for financial purposes, but to make guests feel like their are at their own home. We were served the breakfast in the morning, the range of products you can choose for breakfast is very broad, definetely worth trying it out. The swimming pool is very clean and there is also Jakuzi located near by, which even some of the 4 star hotels do not have in their possession. Talking about our room, we stayed in Dover. The room is quite small, however, it has all the facilities you need, including air conditioner. The room has a unique decoration and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is pretty good, since the beach is in only 7' to 10 minutes walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants around the area, starting from the most basic ones like Burger King and finishing with a few luxury ones. There are 2 supermarkets about 15 minutes walking from the hotel. The hotel also serves dinner and it is very deilcious and the atmosphere is very romantic.
I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Costa Del Sol. The Latvian family who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and do their best to make their guests feel comfortable.
We would certainly come back to the Hotel Al Ana, because it differentiates itself from others, by offering personal attention to every client, something you will not find in a big hotel.

So happy with this find!! An oasis worth spending more time at!! Each room different and lovely, with private sitting areas for each, and expansive green space with other seating areas. Warm and welcoming hosts, with the kids helping out, excellent English.
Breakfast was made to order, and fresh and delicious. Pool very nice.

We booked the Fez suite as a family group made up of my sister, my husband and myself. We had been on separate Stag and Hen Do’s in Benalmedena and Puerto Banus so wanted something a little more tranquil and calm to wind down in and this beautiful Hotel was perfect!
The room was amazing, beautifully set out with careful attention to detail, big plush beds, soft cotton bath robes, we had a shower room and enormous bath too!
The grounds and wealth of wild life added to the feeling of being miles away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts but we were only a five-minute drive from either Estepona or San Pedro with great local retardants within a 10-minute walk.
The family who run the hotel are very friendly, they couldn’t do enough to help us printing maps off and advising of local attractions.
Having breakfast served on the lawn was a real treat and Ben (the very sweet golden Labrador) was great company when he managed to escape from his barracks although we did encourage this!
We will be returning and hope to try out all the other amazing rooms!

Room Tip: Fez has direct access to the pool which we loved!

A lovely, small boutique hotel, close to Gibraltar where we wanted to visit, but not stay. It's within a walk of the beach. We had a lovely upstairs suite (the New York suite) with an exceptionally comfy bed. It had its own private patio with table and lounging chairs. The pool area and gardens are most attractive. The owner, Nic, was very helpful and kind. We'd recommend the Al-Ana without hesitation. The price was by reasonable for the quality of the hotel, the space and the privacy we had.

Room Tip: I am sure all are quiet. We loved the New York suite.
