Girlie week - fantastic apartment well maintained when we had an issue it was fixed within 20 mins. We decided to do the breakfast deal - money off deal and have not been disappointed. Plenty of choice and delicious too.
Would highly recommend as staff cannot do enough for you and although the resort is full it does not feel that way

I may be biased as we have a time share there but this is really excellent
Superb facilities and lovely helpful staff. Loads of things to do if u want to though chilling on the beach or your balcony is an option
Few minor quibbles. Housekeeping cones at random times. U can be out all day and return to find your bed unmade. But at least they don’t offer u points to do it yourself. The shop is expensive but there is an Aldi within walking distance.
U can tour Seville Cadiz Granada etc and all arranged for u. At a price of course. Don’t fall for the hard sell of time shares unless u want one. U need to be very firm although once they realise u aren’t a punter u are not bothered further. Good for kids and with so many pools it never seems crowded. No need to bag chairs. Some blocks are nicer than others but once inside the apartments are very well furnished and equipped. I always leave wanting to return. Reception staff are great. Esther in particular

We are Marriott members and come most years. Always we feel welcome and never disappoint .
Always to Marriott standard .
I feel I have to comment on the massage tent on the beach. Charging 60 Euro for one hour. We like our massages so we had one .
A total rip off. Such a lazy therapist worst massage we have ever had. Don’t bother .

This was our third visit to Playa Andaluza, and we have always enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, lovely grounds and, although the water was a bit cold for swimming in April, the view of the pools, beach and Mediterranean Sea made up for the lack of actual swimming. Spanish law does not allow the heating of outdoor pools,(before a certain date I believe) but we have always used Playa for exploring the surrounding area. We love the "pueblos blancos", making day trips to Ronda, Marbella, Malaga, Gibraltar (park on the Spanish side and walk across) and many other beautiful Spanish cities and towns.

This time we had a three bedroom on the ground floor, and enjoyed the patio and well equipped kitchen. On other visits, the sea front three bedroom had a spectacular view from our top floor balcony, and a previous two bedroom third floor with a pool/ocean view was pleasant as well. We only attended the General Manager's reception this time, as we were often away from the resort. But there are many activities offered, and the lounges on the beach and around the pools are always available even if the water is too cold. to enjoy. We usually get groceries at Mercadona, and always enjoy the fresh squeezed orange juice sold there in liter or half liter bottles, as well as at the Marketplace at Playa.

Marriott offers several tours, which we have not taken. But our son did take the tour to Morocco, and though he would have liked more time on his own, he was glad that he had taken the tour, as he had never been there. Most other places are pretty easily reached by car, and once adjusted to entering the highway from a complete stop, driving was not difficult in Spain. We will definitely plan to visit for a fourth time in a year or so!

Room Tip: We loved top floor sea front in building Cadiz!

A beautiful property, helpful and accomodating staff. Had a 2 bed apartment on the ground floor overlooking the children's pool. Very nice and clean with daily towels and toiletries. The only issue we had was the temperature control for the main bedroom was in the living room.

If you are on a lower floor you do hear the dragging of chairs and children running from the apartment above.

Overall a lovely stay, many restaurants in the area and hiring a car is essential to get around. When we first arrived our sat nav and google maps was unable to pinpoint exit 168 and kept going to exit 170. Exit 168 is on the other side of the road next to the white building/hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the beach are the best and those on the top floor.
