I was there for about 2 hours. Worth to visit. You can walk there and take some beatiful picyures. I did not read the history of this place, but try to read before :))

Worth a visit if combined with a river walk and a visit to the neighbouring town on a trip out from Dusseldorf. Located about a 20 minute tram ride from Dusseldorf (just past the airport on the banks of the Rhine) this small derelict castle offers some pleasant views of the river. You can walk for miles along the riverbank and the small adjacent town is worth visiting too which has some cafes and small shops. Worth a day or half day out.

This is just another ruin with historical importance set on the banks of the river Rhine downstream of Düsseldorf (about 10km). This is a small gentle town, ideal for a short escape from downtown Düsseldorf or underway from/to DUS

The castle ruins of the Kaiserpfalz are on the banks of the river Rhine. Amazingly old ruins from the 10th century. The site itself is not accessible beyond summer months, but it is worth visiting year around- weather permitting. Nice walk along the river and good restaurants near by.

Me and my friend went to a weekend to Dusseldorf, except wanted to try authentic Japanese food at immermannstrasse, we also came to Kaiserpfalz. Took U79 , get off at Kittelbachstrasse, then walk around 9 mins. Here is a very quite suburb place, and as you walking to the Kaiserswerth , you will see beautiful surroundings near Rhein river ! The palace itself is beautiful, from top you can see clearly beautiful view ! Nice place to take picture . And beside there is a small restaurant where you can sit and have tea or beer. Worth to go !
