If you’re in Berlin and don’t go here, you’ve probably got very lost!
Other sights walking distance from the gate as well.

A simply brilliant gate. Great to see at night when lit up. Close to holocaust memorial so visit that too. Check out the Snapchat filters there

Modest monument - it was very cool and simple - worth seeing but add it to a visit to a few places like the Reichstag. The Reichstag normally requires pre- booking !!

Impressive landmark but no information really available on the details of the monument. Definitely worth a visit, but don’t expect to stay there for too long.

Doesn't matter what time of day you go or from what side, it's just an amazing piece of architecture and an important landmark. We we very lucky to be stopping just round the corner so we saw it every day we were there. Very close to the Reichstag too and the Holocaust Memorial.
