Stayed just two nights to break up a long journey - could have happily stayed longer! It's in a great location being very close to the Hackescher S-Bahn station (less than 3 minutes walk) and also to the vibrant Hackesher Markt area.
We booked a Premier Studio room which provided extra space and a small kitchenette - we didn't use the kitchenette but it was nice to have a Nespresso coffee machine and a full size fridge.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and functional although a little on the small side as is the case in many hotels.
Didn't understand the 'air-con' comments from of the previous reviewers - our room had the most effective air-con system I've experienced in a long time. It got so cool one evening I actually turned it off.
I can't finish this review without mentioning the fantastic bar staff - unfortunately we don't know the young man's name but he was very friendly, entertaining and produced some really good cocktails (according to my wife who just had to take advantage of the Happy Hour!). They also serve some very good craft beers - and all at pretty sensible prices bearing in mind the city location).
I would be very happy to recommend this hotel and we will definitely be using it again when we come back to Berlin.

Dear David G, what an amazing review. I am so glad to read how much you liked the benefit of our premier Studios and our good equipment. Great to see that the air-con just suits you perfectly. Thanks a lot for the compliment on our barman and their cocktails. We would be more than delighted to welcome you back soon again. Kind regards Annette Jost

Great place to stay. Lovely clean, quiet and spacious room with kitchenette (studio).
Perfect position for the museums, and trains/trams 2 minutes walk away, for all the sights. Lots of restaurants around and a small supermarket around the corner.Very good value.
No downsides.
We bought a 5-day Welcome to Berlin transport pass and used all the S and U-Bahn stations regularly.

We booked a premier studio king for a 4 days holiday in Berlin. It's a small apartment perfectly well equipped (dishwasher, pots and all kitchenware, tv, internet, desk, table and chairs - for dinner and even a washing machine and a tumbledryer!). We also had a small balcony with a view to the TV tower. It was summer and the air conditioner worked very well.
The location is great - there is a bakery and a supermarket (REWE) right downstairs in the same block/building the hotel is located. We did not include the breakfast fee and could eat in the bakery or bring food to eat at the apartment.
It is right next to the train station and there is also walking distance to many tourist locations.
We also visited the wellness center, which has gym equipments, two small pools and a sauna. They were all clean and nice.
Everything was great and we definitely recommend it!!

We (a couple in their late 20s) stayed here for 5 nights and LOVED IT. We received an upgrade on our room so had a balcony and the staff were kind enough to organise wine and a birthday cake for my partner on my behalf.

We used the hot tubs twice and on one occasion actually had them all to ourselves. If only there was a swimming pool as well!

The bar was great with delicious beer and cocktails.

Breakfast was fine as it was included but had it not been we wouldn't have paid the quite expensive fee.

Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is really like an apartment with a bed, work desk, kitchenette, and bathroom. Very clean and nicely decorated. There was a restaurant on site, but we opted to eat out because there are great restaurants in the nearby area. Once we parked the car, we did not really need it until departure. The hotel is in walking distance to Museum Island, Unter den Linden and Alexanderplatz. Very close to attractions, dining and shopping. Keep in mind that this hotel is located in what used to be East Berlin so you are close to Prenslauer Berg and other historic attractions. That was ideal for us, but if you are looking to see a more cosmopolitan New York type side of Berlin then stay closer to the Tiergarten and Kurfürstendamm side of town. We would definitely stay here again.
