This station is not overly large and is very easy to navigate. Right outside are the S-Bahn, U-bahn, and tram services as well as several restaurants, shops, and hotels. It's a 5-10 minute walk from Karl's Gate and another 5-10 minutes to Marienplatz. This station is very easy to get wherever you need to go.

The terminus station is transportation hub and is the starting point for local, regional, long distance and international services. Below ground level, are the platforms for U-Bahn and S-Bahn while bus and tram stops are near the station. The station also has food and drink stalls.

A station has existed on this site since the nineteenth century although the current building is a fairly modern one. If you are arriving in or departing Munich by train, there is a high probability you will pass through this station. Otherwise, the station is a fairly prominent feature and difficult to miss.

It is amazing and easy to navigate. You will be able to find a lot of restaurants convenience stores and it's very easy to switch between the regional train system and the metro system

A very functional main station with easy access to the Arnulfstrabe or Bayerstrabe via a small ramp. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Signs easy to observe, managed to leave the station following GPS fairly quickly.

Nice station and well organized. Decent food. Don't forget to visit Burger King tucked away at one end of the station. Along with food you can also use the rest rooms for free instead of paying one Euro every time yo have to use the rest room. It adds up if you are at the station for couple of hours and are used to drinking lot of water ( expensive habit in Europe as there are no drinking fountains and have to buy bottled water). I crossed the street from the station and found several places to eat. Visited a nice bakery and got 3 fresh croissants for 2 Euros versus 2 Euros per croissant inside the station.
