We stayed here initially for one night but extended it a further night, the Proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at the front of the hotel and enjoyed the small terrace. My only criticism would be the very small bathroom. This hotel is located in the centre of cannes, ideal for shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Great service and extra touches at hotel de Provence, all the staff are wonderful and so helpful with it. I can see why this is the no1 hotel to stay at in Cannes.

We arrived late on Friday night and were given the option to change rooms to a garden balcony room if we wanted to, nice touch.

I'll shall be fully recommending hotel de Provence to my friends and contacts.

Stay here awhile ago but had a fab time went with husband and another couple. We had garden rooms next door to each other. They were very nice lovely decorated , nice bathrooms . Not the biggest room we have stayed in but it was very clean and perfect for a few nites. The garden was a bonus for a few drinks before venturing out on an evening.
Great location 3 mins to beach and sea front and a 10 minutes walk from all the nightlife and local resturants.
Staff where friendly. Reception area has a bar and outdoor seating areas which where lovely too.
Would definitely return in the future.
Had a great trip.!!

Comfortable room, relaxed atmosphere, superb breakfast area, staff are welcoming, efficient, friendly and informative. The personal attention of the owners and the long term staff members guarantee an excellent holiday experience. The location between the Croissette and the retail therapy of the Rue d'Antibes could not be better.

Room tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel with balcony overlooking the garden (the majority) are best

What a delightful place to stay! I stayed here last summer. We came here this year for a short break with family and had rooms together on the same floor. The hotel is situated in a small, quiet square off the sea front and within a short walk from the beach. It is close to all shops, bars and restaurants. The general area is convenient for visiting places like Antibes, Nice and Monaco all within easy distance.

The hotel has a wonderful relaxing feel from arrival and has a very welcoming and warm reception. It is very clean and comfortable and has a wonderful homely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always accommodating.

The hotel provides excellent service and they are always willing to help with little things like making a restaurant reservation for you, booking a taxi as well as giving you anything extra you may need for your room.

Each room on arrival is provided with a bottle of water. There is also a lovely generous bottle of shower gel which is locally made from olive oil and can be purchased at the hotel reception.

There are fabulous balcony rooms at the front of the hotel which we had on this occasion. The balcony offers another dimension to your room allowing you to sit out and there is a small table and chairs so you can sit and read. It is very relaxing and I would definitely recommend a balcony room as they offer just that little more space particularly if the weather is good and you want to sit out. Having said that the 'back' non-balcony rooms - one of which I had last year - are just as good and have the added benefit of being maybe a little quieter.

There are also some terrace rooms below which offer a larger exterior area; almost garden-like section with plants and sun lounger etc. These rooms are obviously more expensive but prove to be very popular particularly if you have children or perhaps a dog and need more outside space. Then there is of course the lovely outer communal garden at the front which is great to sit out in at any time with a book and a beer from the bar.

Breakfast offers a generous continental breakfast. The standard format is croissants and rolls with pain au chocolat, cheese etc with fruit. You can of course order eggs or an omelette, cereals etc. should you want this. I could go into more detail but would strongly recommend you experience this idyllic hotel for yourself. This hotel as an ideal place to stay and - for the area - very reasonably priced.
