With the exception of the superior rooms on the top floor the rooms are tiny, bags had to be unpacked on the bed. House keeping looked OK until you looked behind the door; dust & dirt from last year.
The safe was located onthe top shelf of the tiny closet and a chair was required to access it.
We were required to change rooms and we were instructed to leave the bags in the old room and hotel staff would do the transfer. When we returned the bags were not transfered but in a lock up room and sadly our hold-all of wine, gin, tonic, nibbles & magazines were missing - nobody on the staff knew anything. Really? Management's answer was, "Go to the Police".
The best part about this hotel was thr staff on reception, especially Laura. Excellent Englnsh and nothing was too much trouble.
