Excellent location in city centre. Everything is close, like bus station, important sights, restaurants, metro. Hotel is very clean, quiet. There is a room for breakfast, but not real restaurant. Helpful, pleasant staff. Good air-condition.

I stayed at Hôtel de France May 25-May 28, 2023. I absolutely loved the location of the hotel as it was within 5 min walk to Capitole and the heart of the downtown. Hotel was very clean. My room was a bit too small but within my expectations. All necessities were available. I will definitely consider staying at this hotel again if/when I am back to Toulouse.

Great location, clean and comfortable hotel, what more do you need. The rooms were spotlessly clean
The only downside was the demolition work going on opposite the hotel with an early morning start, a warning when booking would have been useful.

We stayed in room 110 in July.
It was not nothing but disappointment from the moment we entered until the moment we left. I have stayed in bad hotels before but never at this price.
The only positive I can think of is the location, everything else was atrocious.
The room was boiling. Yes there was Air conditioning but it was clearly a very old unit and did not work at all. I had to ask at the front desk for a fan but this did very little for us.
The light coming into the room was very unsettling for our children late at ight. The curtains did not cover the window. A major design flaw! I tried to fix this but had no joy. the guy at the front desk suggested masking tape to fix the curtain to the wall! A truly comical solution.
The lights. The bathroom light didn't work. We asked at the desk and he 'fixed it'. Ten minutes later it was broken again.
The beds and pillows, old, uncomfortable and dirty.
We all had a terrible night's sleep due to the utter inadequacies of the hotel.
None of the staff seemed to care, they acted like these were regular complaints.
This hotel is definitely best avoided.
