The location of the hotel is perfect in the main square, Place du Capitole, of the town hall. I upgraded my room to have a view of the square at a small charge. The room was small, it and the bathroom renovated, and the view wonderful. Yes, it was noisy and I went to sleep with earplugs, but the action was interesting and the mornings quiet and beautiful to watch from the room.
4 star hotel in the centre of the town overlooking the Capitole square so location is excellent. Close to restaurants and shops. We arrived by train and it's an easy 2 minute, 2 stop ride on the metro to the hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Wonderful staff at reception. We booked a premium room which was very spacious and well set out. Beds are comfortable, pillows are typical European type which I don't like. Too soft and flat. Room has everything you need and expect including a fridge. Bathroom was a good size. Shower was over the bath. Air conditioner works very well. Breakfast was excellent. Had an outdoor eating area which was great. Staff in the breakfast area were fabulous. Internet was good. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Well located hotel on the capitole square. Lots of action nearby from restaurants to shops. Large well apppointed room. Excellent air conditioning. Reasonably priced for the quality and location. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the plaza. At the weekend the rugby was on and the atmosphere was great and just had to amble back to the hotel a few steps.
We had a room with 2 double beds which was a good size. The beds were on the harder side which was ok. Pillows very fluffy.
The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and toiletries.
Breakfast is a selection of hot and cold food. The sausages were a particular hit.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They speak great English (my French is very basic).
Loads of restaurants and shops nearby.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were friendly however it is very tired and in desperate need of updating. Our room was spacious, and lovely and quiet (we looked onto an internal courtyard) but the bathroom fittings were terribly old, the shower was an attachment over a small bath, and the shower screen was old and rusty with some mould evident. We went to breakfast but after seeing the buffet provided and realising it was not possible to order anything fresh from the kitchen, we decided not to stay and eat. There’s lots of cafes and patisseries in the area.
