Staying at La Reserve hotel in Paris, one of the city’s most luxurious is an exceptional once in a lifetime event.
The architecture, ambience and service is magnificent but maintains a simplicity not often found in luxury establishments.
Dinjng in the restaurant is a must for anyone passionate about food.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel, in an elegant, classically French setting.
It’s a restaurant created for memories, romance and moments to be savoured.

It opens at 7pm, and the hotel’s bar is a gorgeous spot for a drink beforehand and has some spectacular cocktails mixed by professional mixologists.
The gin cocktail was too much fun, served in a bath with a straw.
As soon as we sat down, the waiter brought us some amuse bouche.
There were three each to be eaten in a particular order.
Each bite was a taste sensation, and left us hungry for more.

The first course was a plate of small seafood pieces in a thick but sweet soy style sauce.
The blend of French flavours from Brittany and Asian tastes from Japan was immediately apparent.
Second we’re aubergine pieces posing as mushrooms with a miso and sake sauce. Unbelievable. Another astonishing dish of neatly presented tastes and flavours.
A plate of Sea bass garnished with black lemon & cockles from Brittany was extraordinary, and flavoured with white soy sauce & wasabi
The roast pidgeon was presented as a disc of food, again - surprising, flavoursome and delicious.
The wine pairing was such a treat as the sommelier educated us in the world’s very best global vineyards, varieties and tastes.
A Lemon/lime bite for dessert, as well as petit fours was amazing.
Such a stunning culinary experience in an intimate but warm, French setting.
