we go to h&V it every time we visit Paris. Amazing chocolate and macarons. Although service is not alway matching. the last time a young man treated us as if we were imposters was on the edge of being rude. He really spoiled the experience.

This is our second visit here and we came back because we loved it so much. The chocolate is tasty and rich. Truth is I’m not a huge fan of chocolates but this place makes you become a fan! And the staff are professional, helpful and pleasant; leading to an always great experience here.

I did a lot of research on high end pastry shops to visit in Paris and this made my list. The interior is just gorgeous- gleaming and sparse with big display cases that aren't crammed to the brim with desserts. The pop of color outside from the chairs and tables is a cute contrast to the interior.

Now for the pastries! I ate a lot of pastries in Paris and the grapefruit tart was my favorite. The pastry was still perfectly crispy despite being filled with the most divine vanilla cream. The sour grapefruit slices were the perfect contrast.

This is a perfect balance between top quality and high prices, but worth every penny. Strongly reccommend it for fine, sugar delicatessen
