The hotel is small, seems quaint, and has nice service. It's off the higher trafficked streets of paris, but still really close to the metro, and about a five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The walls are thin, the rooms/beds were quite small, and we heard out neighbor take a loud phone call every morning, which woke us up. But, there are a lot of restaurants nearby, and the fact that it was so close to the metro was a huge plus. We loved the small bakery/cafe down the block and went there almost every morning for breakfast. Service was really great, and the hotel was safe--it had a buzz-in system at night, which made us feel really safe.

Overall, not a terrible place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to a solo traveler, or a couple, traveling through Paris on a budget that wants the convenience of a hotel (instead of hostel) not far from the tourist highlights of the city.

Room Tip: rooms at the end of the halls (that share the fewest walls with other rooms) are the quietest.

This hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Eiffle Tower, and is close to the Dupleix Metro, making it a short dash to any of the major tourist sites in Paris. Our room was tiny. There was a cupboard to store items from your suitcase, a small desk with chair, and two small end tables. Our room was tight for two people, but adequate for the budget minded staying in Paris. The TV has only local channels, and none are English speaking. The door is secure but the walls are thin. The window opens to the street and the area is active and noisy at commute times and weekend after hours. There is a nightclub near by that draws nightlife on weekends. The staff is hospitable and helpful. Our room was made up each day, and there were fresh towels, soap and shampoo provided. our bed was comfortable. The shower is good but tight. Be careful that you understand your booking contract. Breakfasts was not included in our room price, and we were charged 8 euros each per meal. The offered fare was sweet rolls, croissants, cheese, dry cereal flakes, juice, coffee and tea. In summary, it is a good place if you are not spending time in your room except to sleep and change clothes. Small for two people.

Room Tip: Request room that doesn't face street.

A small hotel near the Eiffel tower and metro station. the Welcome is good, the elevator is small. The room that i receive with Street view was very small. Bed average comfortable. Small TV Screen, small Bathroom. When i arrive the Maid was sleeping on the bed !!! room 605. Need to be more clean. Breakfast is light
The problem in Paris is the price !!

When I checked in on Tuesday 30 January the taxi driver would not let me pay by card and I was 5 euros short. the man at reception very kindly advanced me the money and I paid him later. He was charming and helpful. But the following day the person on duty who was apparently the manager was not helpful at all. Although she did not appear to be busy she refused to give advice about directions. The other staff were very good. The room was as expected, as I have stayed there before but it was smelly, as if someone had been smoking in the room. Otherwise the facilities were good for a budget hotel in an excellent location.

This is a fairly basic hotel, but it does what it does very well. Our room was small but perfectly adequate - and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean with a very good shower. It is not a luxury hotel but does not purport to be one. Quite a good location, excellent market nearby on Sundays and Wednesday. In a quieter part of Paris but not too far out and not bad value.
