The hotel has a great location and its reception and main area are under a great glass ceiling making it very bright and elegant, however, it has a very bad elevator system (only 2 where working) and rooms are veeeeey old!
We were on room 222 and the door locks with a chain (so 1970s...) and wooden door has clear indications that in the past (waaaay past) it was forcibly opened.
In the shower the tile was sooooo stained that it looked dirty.
Has very few electrical outlets and none to connect usb.
For the price we paid per room, they should be renovated.
One thing I really didnt liked and in reception the lady didnt care was that men clean and fold towels in ladies bathroom. With all bad things happening today, I just do not feel safe being in a bathroom alone with a man that I do not know, and a 5 star hotel should consider that and either close bathroom for 5mins or just hire a woman to do it! Is it too much to ask for a $700 (when cheap) a night hotel?More
