Went here for afternoon tea on my cousins hen party. We had a private room. Lovely setting. The food and service were both excellent 👍🏻 I loved it because you had a choice of two afternoon teas. Gentleman’s or ladies. Very different.

Dear Guest

It's fantastic to read that the party went well and it was a pleasure to host it.

Both Afternoon Tea's are incredibly popular and, as you say, it's great to add some variety to the traditional menu.

We hope to see you again soon and be sure to try our new Gin infused Afternoon Tea.

Kind Regards

We enjoyed our stay enormously which was very short. We had stayed in a sister hotel which was full this time, but found this boutique hotel to be equally good. It looked like a refurbished old bank or office building in the business district of Manchester, but it was stylish and decorated tastefully and had a range of guests, including a large wedding party. Rooms nice and well specified, one of the best showers, and the breakfast was truly excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful with restaurants and directions etc. Only slight gripes were the only lift was slow, the bar terrace area gets busy it would seem with non residents, and the pool area is very chlorinated. But I would certainly recommend and return.

Dear Guest

Thank you for keeping it "Eclectic" and we were happy to read your first experience with us here at King Street Townhouse was a positive one.

You are indeed correct, originally, we were the Manchester and Salford Trustee's Bank built in 1872 and now this Grade || listed building is home to our Baby Grand hotel.

One of my favourite features are our showers as they are of a bespoke design and leave you feeling refreshed.

We look forward to welcoming you on your return.

had the pleasure of attending some friends wedding here. The service and celebrations all held under one roof. Venue itself is lovely, nice decor and appearance, only minor gripe was that is was stiflingly hot in some areas of the hotel (bearing in mind it was august and guests 'suited and booted').

The reception celebrations were held up top with amazing views across Manchester from the terrace. The food was great, the staff very attentive.....nothing was too much.

The only reason I'm knocking off a star, giving 4/5, is that there is no parking facility, only discounted price at a named car park 5 minutes walk away. Plus the bar prices, pretty extortionate for a round of drinks!

Dear Simon

A lovely celebration, we were honoured to host such an occasion and I am happy to read you enjoyed our Eclectic design. We were indeed lucky enough to have some amazing weather so I'm sure all the pictures from our 6th floor South terrace will look amazing, as did the views.

We recognise all feedback so thank you for taking the time to write it :.) Parking is vast in Manchester being such a contained but busy city so we are very lucky to have established a relationship with a reliable, local and safe parking option with Q-Park.

We hope to be welcoming you back in the near future.

I booked this hotel to celebrate my husbands birthday. First impressions were great but unfortunately, there were a couple of disappointments. I called the day before (before booking) to ask if the rooftop bar would be available. I was told it was so I booked. However, when we arrived we were told it would be after 6pm. This was ok as it gave us time to have a drink up here before we left for our meal. However when we went up the private function was not quite finished and we felt like we were intruding so we left.

The room was small but perfectly formed. One big disappointment was the view....of the offices opposite!

Every time we lifted the blinds to allow some light in the staff across the road stared into our room!! Not the hotels fault but not ideal.

It’s a shame th night wasn’t what I had hoped for. Lovely place nonetheless.

Room tip: Ask for a room which is not overlooked by the office across the road.

Dear Melissa

Firstly a big happy birthday to your husband and we hope he had a lovely day.

We recognise all comments and, where possible, act on them immediately. The location is ideal for all of Manchester attractions thus leaving us in a dense area of buildings.

We look to make all stays memorable and hope you choose to return to us here at King Street Townhouse.

This hotel was absolutely lovely! Although we experienced some issues with water not working in our room the staff were great and were very apologetic, offering ourselves a complimentary night of our choice which is lovely as the hotel is beautiful especially the pool! That was an experience in itself! All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you but I must say that Wendy who was on reception at night was just amazing! Nothing was too much, not to mention her great sense of humour! Every hotel needs a Wendy! Thank you Kingstreet!

Dear Michelle

A lovely review. With every issue comes opportunity and I am happy to read that the staff handled everything well considering the issue was not one the hotel was in control of.

Our 7th floor Spa Pool is a fantastic facility to be able to offer our guests and I am happy to read you had the opportunity to experience it. Also, I will personally thank Wendy for the assistance and service she gave :.)

We hope to be welcoming you back to the hotel soon.
