Excellent facilities for a hotel gym, massively surpasses other hotels. Something for every type of training needs instead of the usual machines that one would find in the average hotel gym. Excellent staff, a particular mention goes to the receptionist who served me called Rachel. Friendly, smiling and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant staff. Breakkie was abit naff, bacon being streaky and I ain't game for that and sausages a lil undercooked so texture of gooow wasn't too great. But the reception a was second to none. I just want to say that Rachel was absolutely spot on, a smile as we walk in to a smile walking out. Give this girl a payrise

Fantastic hotel 10 mins from Manchester airport. Rooms were contemporary, clean & comfortable. Freeview TV with screen mirroring ideal to watch programs or films from your phone. Tea & coffee facilities biscuits were a lovely touch. Onsite bar & restaurant including room service. The main reason we booked was the spa facilities we had a wonderful relax in sauna, salt, steam room & jacuzzi. Also large pool & hydro therapy pool is a must!
We enjoyed the hotel so much we booked again before our next holiday as ideal hotel to relax before or after a flight.
Extra bonus manger advised they plan to open a treatment section for massages etc.

Good evening,
Thank you for leaving such a lovely review! Not many people take advantage of the screen mirroring in our rooms so i am glad you were informed how to use this. Its certainly the best way to get better sound quality from your phone so you can listen to your favorite tunes while getting ready.
The hydrotherapy suite is a must if your staying here we are very proud of it. Our treatment section is only in the ideas stage at the minute but watch this space as changes will be happening!
We hope to see you again in the near future.

Just on the outskirts of central Manchester, this hotel is perfect for a commute into the city by road, rail or tram or Stockport also close by. A taxi home late at night, wouldn't break the bank either. The rooms are smallish but really clean and newly refurbished, great shower and bath, lovely clean carpets and TV with YouTube channels! (not my priority!). The bar is welcoming with big screen TVs and a good menu (a little pricey but fair when you consider the room rate). The staff were exemplary. The manager made his presence felt, lots of checks that things were ok. The real attraction is free use of the superb gym, pool and saunas which really are brilliant, not many 25m pools with lanes for serious swimming in hotels. A great place to stay for people who love to exercise, relax in a health suite or splash about with the children. Highly recommend. Only suggestion is kids menu or tariff for breakfast. Not sure if there is an outdoor play area for younger children?

Good evening!
Firstly i would like to thank you for such a wonderful and detailed review of our hotel. I will pass on all your comments to the relevant departments. I am so happy you got to use everything in full, you're right it is rare to find a hotel with such expansive Leisure facilities. There isn't a play are for children either, just for future reference. I do hope you will return to us if you are ever again in the Manchester area.

Kind regards

We had a short stay here earlier this month and found it to be a good budget style hotel. The rooms were very basic, but appropriate for the price, with a Kingsize bed and a TV. Could have done with a bit more decor in the room and slightly more modern furniture. The leisure facilities were very good, with a big pool, a jacuzzi, and then a spa area with hydropool, steam room and sauna and some loungers to relax on. The restaurant and cafe facilities were also quite basic, but good value for money if you are using the hotel for a base to go out.
