Owner description: With an eclectic line-up of some of the biggest names in Indie, Dance, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music, the fun-filled Parklife Festival weekender attracts more than 140,000 revellers each year. Located at Heaton Park, Manchester, this eagerly-anticipated event boasts 8 diverse musical arenas, a huge range of street food trucks, roaming entertainers, and a host of up-and-coming club brands and DJs. It’s a great place to kick-off the summer in style – just don’t forget your poncho or your wellies!

Incredibly disappointing. We decided to come here for a euro music fest experience and that was a terrible mistake. I had a weekend pass and left 1/2 through.

It's mostly kids younger than 23 all of whom smoke, and are on helium, cocaine, or KFT. About every 10 minutes you saw someone snort a line of coke off of a key.

It's extremely overcrowded, and just extremely dirty. There are no waste bins so it's just an endless lawn of trash (bottles, wrappers, condoms, cigarette butts) you have to kick things away to make a patch of grass to sit down on. Also (like most music festivals) it doesn't have enough port a potty but this was pretty bad. I'm not faint of heart but I tried to go into a port potty, immediately came out and started to dry heave.

Worse festival i have ever been to in my life and i love festivals. I came to Manchester park life 5 hour journey away and boy what a mistake that was. Bought vip tickets as was stated on their website luxury toilets when there was nothing luxury about them they were exactly the same as the normal toilets and they were not cleaned once so if you dont like poo dirt and sick all over your 'luxury' toilet this is not for you just like it wasnt for me. It also states que jump i was in the outside line for 1 hour 30 mins dont know how that is a que jump it also stated mirrored tent and dancers they didnt have them it was all a con all they had was one tent in vip that was like a sauna and it wasnt even that hot that day. Lets just say this forget about vip lets talk about the main field with all the main tents. They oversold their tickets to the point it was dangerous people were swaying from side to side falling onto eachother. You go to a festival to dance to have fun. You couldnt do one of them things when i say everyone was touching shoulders they were you couldnt even get in a tent to see an act and these tents are hugeeeee doesnt make any sense. Even the field you couldnt move like comon this is a huge field and its taking you 20 minuites to walk a couple of steps... I have written a complaint to park life and they dont care they just want your money thats all so to anyone reading this i would take my advise and not go its such a con. I even looked at the waiting line for the toilets in the main are and boy i would say people would have been waiting an hour or more thats how bad it was. Take my advice and go somewhere else save yourself from this horrible disaster ha.

What a time to be alive, year after year this event gets bigger and better. I've been 5 times in a row now and i still don't remember seeing one act. Can't complain about queuing and prices because its just how it is.
