The Hilton is placed within easy access of the major motorways and town centre.

The hotel has a small gym, pool and spa which are complimentary for guests.
In fact the gym is open 24hrs for guests.

The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are exceptionally spacious.

The food is excellent, particularly the breakfast which is well stocked with a variety of items.

My only criticism of the facilities, is that we felt the bar was quite expensive.

Other than that you can't go wrong.

We arrived and were given a family room with two double beds and ample room to move about. The beds were a little on the hard side but the rest was adequate. We went swimming in the indoor pool. If was one of the warmest pools I have been in as was the hot tub. We had an issue with the gym staff on duty we were informed that on that day (Sat) all children had to be out of the pool by 7:30pm I pointed out that the sign on the door of the gym and in the hotel guide stated that children could use the pool till 9pm. We went back to our room to find no hot water for shower bath. We spoke to reception who offered us another room. But we declined when they said it would be working in 1/2 hour. We went for belated dinner, happy to say the restaurant was on taste-card and got it for 1/2 price! We returned to our room to find the water wax barely tepid. This continued to the morning. We had the breakfast which was well worth the money and even had s waffle maker! On check-out we complained again about the water and were offered all our food and drinks removed from bill, All the staff were very kind. It was not there fault that they had problems with the boiler. Over all I feel this is a 3 1/2 star hotel not 4. But I would stay again. Finally we had noise from other guests or staff, if the bed was better it would have been a great night's sleep.

Dear Terence W,

Thank you for your review. I was pleased that you had an enjoyable stay and found our rooms large enough for your family, our team members kind and friendly and our dinner and breakfast good value. I am sorry for the issue that you experienced with the hot water. This was caused by a power surge in the area which then caused our boilers to be knocked out. Our teams were able to get this fixed but the boilers then took a long time to heat back up and we can only apologise for this and reassure you that this us not usual of our hotel. I am pleased that our team was able to make it right for you and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Kind regards,
Jessica Pollard, PA to Leonardo Gagliano, General Manager
