We stayed for a night for the Nathan Carter concert. The room was lovely. We booked a family room and had two single beds and a double.

The reason for the average rating is because of the Food. We ate in the Flesk Restaurant for dinner and it was only okay. The three of us had the Ribeye Steak which was only okay. It came with veg and potato. The waiter told us that chips were included and then when they were bringing our dinner said they were extra. We had to get them because my cousin with me wanted them. The staff should be informed better of what is included or not included.

Two of us ordered the Lemon Torte, what a disappointment! We were expecting a large slice of Lemon torte, what we got was something like a Mr Kipling, a small little round pastry that was like something shop bought, not made fresh inhouse. The raspberry coulis was Raspberry Jam and the Sorbet wasn't great either. Very disappointing and should be looked at as it is false advertising. The other had the profiteroles, they didn't look or taste homemade either.

Breakfast on the Sunday morning was very poor. It was buffet style which is grand as most hotels offer this now. I ordered fresh poached eggs and they came out like hard boiled eggs. It was a waste of time waiting for them.

If we were going for any show again I won't be booking the Gleneagles to stay for it. It was an expensive room for the night on top of what we left for a few drinks and our Dinner and it wasn't worth it.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in! Michael, a member of staff was more than helpful all night. Cormac, the hotel manager couldn't have done enough for the hen group. Rooms were exceptional and clean. Well worth the money.

Other than the location, we enjoyed our stay without the car here.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant one night. It was nothing special. In hindsight we should have eaten in the bar.
We got taxis around the area. There was no trouble calling for pickup at the hotel and the various sights nearby.

The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Every door shutting in the (very large) building seemed to reverberate into our room. Drunken revellers returned to their rooms throughout the night, the last ones at 3.30am. Even though the check in time wasn't until 4pm our room wasn't ready. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good although the queues for the restaurant were out of the door after 9am. Quite a way out of the centre of town and we were charged 2 euros each on the 'courtesy' shuttle bus. Handy for the national park.
