Owner description: Croke Park has been at the heart of Irish sporting life for over 100 years. With a capacity of 82,300, this magnificent stadium is actually the third largest in Europe. Its size is only part of its greatness, however, as you’ll discover on this eye-opening, access-all-areas tour. From quirky insights into why Croke Park’s grass is always greener to learning about defining moments in Irish history, the passionate Tour Guides will take you on an inspiring journey around our national stadium. Some of the highlights include taking a seat in the VIP area, getting a birds-eye view from the media centre, sneaking a peek inside the dressing rooms, and of course, walking in the footsteps of legends as you go pitchside through the players’ tunnel!

Did the tour of Croke Park today including visit to museum, all very interesting helped along by a very pleasant young tour guide. I had already done the Skywalk about six months ago again taking in a tour of the excellent museum. All money well spent.
Not only of interest to GAA and Irish historians but also to those who are simply interested in the games, all most informative and a great way to spend a few hours.

Our group had a great day here! We really enjoyed learning about the traditional Irish sports (as we are all from the US and had never heard of them before). Appreciated that our tour guide explained some of the rules and game play and showed us a film of players in action.

The sky walk was definitely the highlight of the day. Our guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the various landmarks that you can see from the roof. And the views were spectacular! If you are planning on taking a tour of the stadium, make sure the sky walk is a part of it!
This tour would also be great for children.

Today we had an 11am tour of Croke delivered by Eve, her tour was fun and full of knowledge. I've been to 6 stadium tours in the last year and this was by far the best one of the lot, amazing!

We really had no idea about Hurling or Gaelic football until we started looking at things to do. The stadium tour was great, and this is one of the largest in Europe, but the history of Gaelic football and the Gaelic Athletic Association in the museum was a real highlight. It is a world class display and such a great history lesson, with interactive games and commentary. If you can go to one of the games while here, which we did, its also well worth it.

We really enjoyed our visit to Croke Park. As we had arrived early for our tour, we made use of this time to enjoy the GAA museum. There is quite a bit of information there and some fun interactive displays that test your skills. Since we were there first thing in the morning, we virtually had the place to ourselves, allowing us to test our skills at our leisure.
The tour was excellent. Our tour guide was super enthusiastic, making it a lot of fun. It is obvious that he loves his job. We had a number of people from various parts of Ireland on our tour as well, which added another interesting dimension to our tour.
It was a great visit and we would highly recommend it. By the way, we walked there from the central downtown area and it took roughly 20-25 minutes.
