Long-weekend in Dublin. First visit. Loved the city!
Hotel Arlington has a very good location. Close to the ariport-bus (line 747), Temple Bar-area is just cross the Ha'Penny Bridge.
You can walk to every sights in Dublin, and we did. Very pleased with that!

The staff is also very nice, and give you the attention that is needed.

It's an old hotel, and a bit worn. Loved the beds, but the bathrooms need a facelift.
Breakfast was suberb! Typical English / Irish breakfast with lots of good stuff.

Room Tip: Not towards the street or the backyard due to a noisy fan. I guess the rooms on the uter sides of the building are most quiet.

Stayed for our friends 50th birthday for the weekend. Our room was huge with a lively view of the river. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was delightful. Thank you. Great hotel and amazing staff and superb location. We will be back.

Great location and an average hotel and breakfast. If you want a place to just sleep and have breakfast in with a good central location this is the place. Clean rooms and everything works but not that little extra. The only complaint is mishaps with the rooms bookings and paying at check out but I guess that’s due to other circumstances.

Short stay business trip to Dublin and thankfully only for one night. Place has been better times as the rooms are old fashioned and looking a bit tired with torn carpets and worn furniture inn the room. We had moved after a night in a nearby more modern hotel as the Arlington offered a better rack rate and thankfully We were only there for one night. Room was at the back of the hotel with no view to speak of and a great racket from the resident seagulls! Reasonable nights sleep and basic amenities in the room, however tv was postage stamp size and lacking in channels. Location is good though next to Liffy lower end of O'Connel Street...place is home to Irish dance show in the bar so quite busy and can be a challenge to get through the front door as we found it blocked by smokers standing inn the street outside. No observations to make on the food as we went elsewhere for dinner and breakfast was not included...plenty of places to eat in the vicinity.

I really understand why guests keep coming back to Arlington. I will too. You get great value for your money. The location, staff, breakfast, rooms, cleaning etc was really good. The only small thing I can complain about is the lack of sockets in the room. There was only one socket in the room, and with room for 4 guests, the need for charging phones, tablets and PCs requier more than one socket in the room.Nevertheless, we were all very happy with our stay here and will for sure book the Arlington for our next visit.

Stayed: April 2018
