Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.
Useful Information: Stairs / lift, Baby buggy parking, Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities

Even if you don't like beer this is well worth the time and money to go. Allow at least 2+ hours to enjoy the experience. The Gravity glass bar on the 7th floor slowly rotates for the best view of all Dublin. TIP: I would buy a pass ahead of time and if its a busy time of year I would get the express (cut the line) pass in the interest of time.

Never has Guinness tasted so good! I'd only heard good things going into the tour and was not let down! From the very start walking in to see the lease, I loved heading up through the levels of the pint glass. The advertising level really impressed me, I loved seeing all the vintage Guinness ads.
The pint up the top floor is a highlight too. Even my friend who hates Guinness had a great time on the tour!

Great visit, the children enjoy it, we took our time, they learnt about brewing, alcohol.
We enjoy lunch and a pint.
The view in the Gravity bar is absolutely stunning.
The treat was a glass engraved for dad prior as father’s day gift

The Guiness Tour is a great activity when in Dublin. It's a self guided tour so you can go at your own pace. The restaurants are on the 5th floor and the Gravity Bar (where you get your free pint) is on the 7th. There are some stairs and escalators in addition to 2 elevators so everyone can get up there. We were blessed with gorgeous weather throughout our trip and the view from the storehouse was incredible. You can see everything! Seeing the process of the how to make Guinness was incredible. Our kids loved it and the Brasserie was a wonderful spot for lunch.

Now I'm not a beer fan, but when in Rome, right?

I had done the Jameson's tour the day before. What a difference - the Jameson's tour is professional and informative, the Guinness tour .... isn't. I was wondering how they managed to get so many people through their doors for these tours. Now I know - they don't actually provide a tour ... they just shuffle you through a bunch of video monitors playing videos you don't care about.

If you can only do one or the other, go with Jameson's - the experience is so much more bang for your buck.

Oh, and if you're afraid of heights, good luck with those floating escalators.

Thank Wicked
