We spent 3cdays in Edinburgh and last day we visited garden. So peaceful, colourful and well informed walk. Really enjoyed. We spent 2,5 hours.

We really loved visiting the garden the last May bank holiday weekend during the Scottish rhododendrons festival. it was lovely to see the azaleas and rhododendrons of all the colours. We also visited the greenhouses to warm up (it was a foggy day) - some interesting plants to see. We really recommend visiting it.

Excellent work by the horticulturists and RBGE staff means that you can enjoy a casual but well-informed walk through the beautifully maintained gardens while getting ideas and insights into what will work in your own home and garden.

The glass houses are a must. But I particularly loved the pools with all the fish and lily pads. Spring is a wonderful time for the Rhododendrons and Azaleas. Please spend a day here, not just a quick mooch for an hour.
It's included on the hop on and off tour bus from all over the city.

Thank terrythy
