My wife surprised me with an anniversary weekend away to see Rob Brydon at the Wales Millenium Centre. She booked the Novotel and it was a great hotel for the walking into town (.8 mile) and also to the theatre (1 mile) in the Bay. We asked to change room as ours (201) was right next to some swing doors that clunked when they shut and they moved us up the corridor into a (in our opinion) nicer room (209). Very comfortable and clean room with a nice layout and a bath and separate shower. Nice range of toiletries (shower gel etc). Very quiet room with triple glazing even if the windows were quite small due to the hotel being built inside a converted Customs Building. Breakfast was substantial, with great choice on offer, although when it got busy the staff were run off their feet. The only downside was having to pay an additional £12 to park overnight. Other than that it was a great stay, well located and has a lot of character due to it being built into an old building. It also has a fitness centre and pool complex which we didn't use.More
