Stayed here whilst on a business trip. Finding the car park and hotel whilst driving is a nightmare the signage is very poor. Took a while to find a space to park. Reception is very modern and welcoming, although it took some time to check in. The room was a large size, much larger than i expected, however it is very dated and for some reason there was two queen beds in there, no idea why. Shower was literally a bath with a shower attached and a shower curtain however towels were very nice. Its the small inconveniences which let this hotel down. For example the desk is too high and the plug sockets slightly too low, which meant moving the desk out to plug in cables. There are no plug sockets by the bed to charge your phone. The lighting system was so old school. WiFi was free, however it asks you to pay and then the reception deducts it from your bill, which seemed strange to me. Car parking is expensive at 18 for the night. Breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast fare, nothing special.
Overall very average, they need to modernise the rooms before they focus on the communal areas.More
