Well worth a walk around this when visiting Windsor Castle. Full of history, the talking guide takes you through areas of the chapel and it's features. Following the recent Royal Wedding, it is very popular with tourists and busy. Lots to take in here if you have the time.

The detail of the church is incredible and seeing it on tv during the royal wedding doesn’t do it justice. Do not have your phone out or take pictures inside they will make you erase them. Have fun watching security take others photos from them.

I highly recommend staying until 5 pm for the Evensong Service at St. George's. The church inside is actually very small and intimate, so the boys' chorus echos off the walls in a hauntingly beautiful way. Even if you aren't religious, the 45 minute service is not to be missed.

It is very easy to walk to the train station after and catch a train back to London through Slough.

For those who attend service: please be respectful and wear appropriate clothing. If your children cannot be respectfully quiet for 45 minutes (which is okay, we have all been there!), this service is probably not for you. There was one tourist family whose children screamed several times and it really diminishes the experience for all.

The chapel is a must when visiting Windsor, even if you are not an Anglophile you will recognise the people interred here.
It’s very interesting, but is not macabre at all - likely due to the numbers of visitors buzzing through!
