We were checked in by the lovely Chrysa, lovely friendly customer service made us feel welcome straight away. Our room did feel bit small for a long stay, we were kindly upgraded to more spacious room staying on 7th floor. I don't know the noise difference from floor 1 to 7 but I do highly recommend 7th floor, we heard nothing. Our view was the stadium a far with the stunning 18th Century architectural Hotel Building. Stunning views. I think we were 709. Room was lovely, with 2 big windows, you do get use too the hights! Breakfast was fantastic! me being vegan, had Alpro Yogurts, alpro soya milk and even Vegan sausages. Thank you so much too Steve, he was on breakfast Christmas Morning for making the vegan sausages! was super polite, friendly and nothing was a bother and the other mornings he was on too, just a happy, friendly gentleman on breakfast. Robbie on reception too during festive times lovely customer service. Thank you to Gemma, house keeping for doing our room just as you were finishing, she did not mind at all, such gem excellent service with smile. Hope you managed to get one off the cup cakes I left. It is service like this, that I love so much and it's a place we happily return. Highly recomend this lovely Hotel. Easy access too shops, bars, places too eat, trainstation and bus stops. The hotel has bar too. Thank you for such lovely stay during the festive times

Recently returned from a weekend stay in the Hampton by Hilton. Upon arrival, Reece was very welcoming. The room and the whole hotel in general was absolutely spotless. The breakfast is very well laid out and has something for everyone. The added bonus of security at the front door at night was a welcome addition in such a busy area.
The only complaint I would have would be the noisy a/c and only 2 lifts for the whole hotel, but these are very minor and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to family and friends.

The hotel was ideally situated for both quayside bars and city shopping. Located directly opposite train station. No parking at hotel but discounted rate available at Times Square car park about 8 minutes walk away.
Hotel is spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff, adequate rooms but firm beds and just the worst wafer- like pillows ever ! So uncomfortable.
We were located on 4th floor overlooking street below. We had a very disturbed two night break due to noise level if passing traffic, sirens and late night revellers. Because of the sleepless nights, I would opt not to stay there again.
Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice with cooked and continental on offer.
One other gripe, the reception is located on the second floor, with only one lift in wirking order. Therefore, always a delay.

Again as a returning guest, I was made very welcome on arrival. All the reception team are fantastic. Room clean and all in working order. Location directly across from Newcastle Rail Station and Metro. Well worth a visit.
