Took my mam here for a treat before seeing a concert at the arena. Went at about 6pm. Booked online which was easy and quick. Arrived to be greeted by a lovely manager very funny and chatted all night. Wasn't too busy but a few tables full of what appeared to be regulars...some with children. Good food and reasonable price. It took a little while for the food to come but that was fine as we had plenty of time. Would defiantly go back!!

Popped in for sunday lunch, and found the place pretty empty. Perhaps this should have set off warning bells.
However willing to give it a go we sat down to order.
The sunday menu is really small with limited options, and there didn't seem to be an alternative 'normal' menu around.
The creamy garlic mushroom starter tasted quite nice, however the dish was totally let down with the use of canned mushrooms. Why!?!
The pizza wasn't brilliant, my lasagne was flavourless. The parmagiana however was really tasty, but the portion size was small and I would have been left hungry afterwards.

Overall I don't know why this place ranks so highly. There are much better Italian restaurants around.
Maybe they used to be good, but have given up? Certainly not up to my expectations.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. But certainly not great.

Quality food and ambience but manager lets the establishment down with unwelcoming attitude! Never experienced an Italian Restaurant who charge £12 for a side of garlic bread with Main course. No worries and easy solution - you take your custom elsewhere - plenty of good Italian restaurants nearby

Absolutely amazing restaurant, amazing food and staff extremely friendly, the chef makes the best steak I have ever tasted, that’s why I go back week after week, I would highly recommend, the best restaurant in Jesmond by far !

Brilliant and very attentive service. The decor is great and the food excellent. All the staff are very passionate about offering a great dining out experience, which it was.
